Arizpe provided services for two featured projects at 5501 Airport Blvd. and 2201 Post Road for Travis County.

In phase 1 of the 5501 Airport Blvd. project, Arizpe conducted an assessment of the HVAC systems for the building. The deliverable was a report identifying deficiencies in the system with recommendations for repairs. Upon approval, Arizpe prepared the mechanical and electrical construction documents for the necessary repairs.

During phase 2 of the 5501 Airport Blvd. project, The County provided architecture services for the renovation of an existing structure. The renovation included adding a second story to the building for administrative offices and classrooms. Arizpe provided professional engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering.

For the 2201 Post Road project the county provided architecture services to convert existing administrative offices to a court room and legal offices. Arizpe provided professional engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering. Arizpe designed a new HVAC system, interior lighting and power distribution. Additionally, plumbing, piping and exhaust systems were designed for ADA accessible restrooms. Arizpe’s civil engineering services included utility plans and a new double check valve backflow preventer. This new tap required pavement cuts, erosion and sediment control and traffic control.
