Arizpe performed a field study to both identify system deficiencies and to determine requirements for upgrading the underground natural gas lines that fed the occupied facilities located on 5th Street at the Red River Army Depot. Engineers recommended upgrades to the existing system and proposed a new system to meet all relevant codes and latest standards. The study consisted of a report that explained the methodology and design criteria that were used in assessing the current state of the gas lines and regulators on the system. Furthermore, the report separately itemized the recommended upgrade/repair projects and summarized the total estimated construction cost for the recommended upgrades.
