Arizpe provided a full time Construction Management, Inspection and Administration team to the City of Austin for the construction phase services of the Govalle Tunnel Odor/Corrosion Improvements Project.
Arizpe participated in the design of 7 individual sites consisting of roads, concrete pads and civil site design for chemical feed, biological odor controls, and tunnel access shafts on the 96” tunnel at average depths of 100 ft. This included coordination with TXDOT for the use of the right-of-way for the installation of tunnel access. Arizpe developed the construction documents, specifications, and construction cost estimates for each of the sites. Arizpe also performed the inspection of water and wastewater utility construction, storm drainage lines, manholes, cleanouts, water valves, fire hydrants, and inlet structures.
