Arizpe prepared a transportation circulation study and traffic signal warrant analysis for the northwest campus at Texas A&M University. Recommendations were made to improve capacity and circulation issues for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Arizpe surveyed the area, researched historical data, reviewed origin-destination studies and analyzed traffic and pedestrian counts.

Based on Arizpe’s findings, geometric improvements were made to several intersections on campus. Samples of the improvements include the addition of exclusive right turn lanes, the installation of traffic signals, additional street lighting, construction of dual left turn bays and the design of handicap ramps.
