Architect Intern / Project Architect

Arizpe is a 22 year old collaborative A&E firm seeking an Architect Intern or Project Architect with experience in institutional and government projects. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Must have strong design skills, building code knowledge, CD production expertise, CA capabilities and project management experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Adobe, MasterSpec and/or Specs Intact is desired. The ability to manage multiple projects with a collaborative team is a must. Successful candidate will be a team player with an upbeat personality that has a strong portfolio, excellent interpersonal skills, and exceptional organization.

Mechanical EIT

Arizpe is a 22 year old collaborative A&E firm seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) with experience in institutional and government projects. Candidate will assist engineers by performing the routine aspects of mechanical engineering assignments including:

  • Performing mechanical design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work.
  • performing energy analysis on energy and power projects.
  • coordinating project assignments with an integrated team of architects and engineers.
  • reviewing drawings supplied by vendors, clients, engineers and architects.
  • researching design code issues and working with city, state and county officials.

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • EIT certification, or the ability to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
  • Previous experience working with design software (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles and prescribed methods is required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe, MasterSpec and/or Specs Intact is desired. The ability to handle multiple projects with a collaborative team is a must. Arizpe is a 22 year old collaborative A&E firm seeking a civil Engineer in Training (EIT) with experience in institutional and government projects. Candidate will assist engineers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments including:

  • Performing basic design computations, preliminary layout and design, and similar technical work.
  • coordinating project assignments with an integrated team of architects and engineers.
  • reviewing drawings supplied by vendors, clients, engineers and architects.
  • researching design code issues and working with city, state and county officials.
  • researching and preparing rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Preparation of plans and specifications, as well as construction observation.

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required
  • EIT certification, or the ability to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
  • Previous experience working with design software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles and prescribed methods is required.
